Miten Venäjästä tuli Arja Paanasen elämäntyö? Mitä pitkän linjan toimittaja on oppinut vallasta, vaikuttamisesta ja tiedon merkityksestä vuosikymmenten aikana? Tässä Alumnisohvalla-jaksossa vieraana on Jyväskylän yliopiston alumni, palkittu toimittaja ja tietokirjailija Arja Paananen, joka tunnetaan erityisesti Venäjää käsittelevästä journalistisesta työstään. Paananen on seurannut läheltä Venäjän yhteiskuntaa, politiikkaa ja vallankäyttöä sekä raportoinut alueelta 1990-luvun alusta. Alumnisohvalle istahti Heikki Salo, useasti palkittu muusikko, lauluntekijä ja kirjailija, joka tunnetaan erityisesti Miljoonasade-yhtyeen keulahahmona. Hän on julkaissut useita sooloalbumeita ja sanoittanut kappaleita monille suomalaisille artisteille. Salon tuotanto ulottuu musiikin lisäksi teatteriin, televisioon ja kirjallisuuteen – hän on kirjoittanut näytelmiä, tv-sketsejä ja oppikirjan laululyriikasta nimeltä Kahlekuningaslaji.
